The role requires a deep understanding of soil and rock behavior, development of foundation designs, and managing site investigations.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience and Pr Eng registration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigation and design.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is essential.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software packages (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio) and data analysis tools.
• Extensive knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills, with the ability to manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage geotechnical site investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
• Analyze soil and rock mechanics data to assess site conditions and potential risks.
• Design foundations (shallow and deep), retaining structures, and earthworks for various infrastructure and building projects.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, including recommendations and design parameters.
• Provide expert advice on geotechnical engineering issues to clients and project teams.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and international geotechnical standards and building codes.
