Job summary

Zutari's Ground Engineering team seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with expertise in geotechnical analysis and design. The role spans projects across energy, transport, water, and built environments, with opportunities to work locally and internationally.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in soil/rock mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical software, with a track record of client engagement and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Registration as Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng. or equivalent).
• Post-graduate Geotechnical qualification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with an established team of geotechnical engineers and Engineering Geologists.
• Deliver technical work with project management and problem solving focus.
• Liaise with other design disciplines for coordination.
• Win work and build client relationships for geotechnical teams.
• Occasional travel to SA, Africa, and Middle East projects.
• Apply new knowledge and develop new approaches to ground problems.
