Job summary

Zutari is seeking an Engineering Geologist to join our Ground Engineering Team in Tshwane or Cape Town. You will provide geological input, deliver geotechnical analysis, and ensure projects meet client requirements, quality standards, and budget.

The role offers diverse opportunities across Energy, Transport, Water, Built Environment, and Resources sectors, with travel and mentoring of junior geologists. A strong team culture and sustainable practices are central to Zutari.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Engineering Geology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience.
• Saudi SAIEG membership advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical delivery and project management with focus on problem-solving, analysis, and design.
• Liaise with design disciplines to develop and maintain design coordination.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, internally and externally.
• Apply new knowledge to solve complex ground problems and deliver solutions.
• Travel to projects in SA, other African countries, and the Middle East as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety standards on site and in the office.
