Job summary

Zutari's Ground Engineering team seeks an Engineering Geologist to contribute geological input across projects in Africa and the Middle East. You will join a multi-disciplinary group delivering safe, buildable foundations and innovative ground solutions.

Role involves characterising ground conditions, liaising with design teams, and mentoring younger geologists while expanding opportunities for the business. International travel is possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in geotechnical projects.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills with client interaction.
• Experience delivering geological/geotechnical projects using standards and principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical delivery with emphasis on problem-solving, analysis and design.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines for design alignment.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships internally and externally.
• Apply new knowledge and create innovative approaches to ground problems.
• Ensure safety standards on site and in the office; maintain safety files.
