Qualifikationen

• MSc degree in Geology, Economic Geology, Geosciences or closely related field.
• 10 years of professional experience in mining or mineral exploration with multi-commodity expertise.
• Senior or leadership level responsibility in geological roles.
• Experience across multiple terranes, deposits and stages of the value chain.
• Record of research output not required but portfolio development is encouraged; mentoring experience advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Provide academic leadership for the MSc Economic Geology programme and associated modules.
• Supervise MSc dissertations and PhD candidates where appropriate.
• Coordinate visiting industry lecturers, field trips, and practical training.
• Foster innovative teaching approaches integrating industry practice with academic rigour.
• Develop and grow an active research and teaching portfolio in geology.
