Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals; solid probability and statistics; production systems experience at scale.
• Ability to move across languages (Go, Java, Python, Rust, SQL).
• Understanding system behavior under load and failure; Linux, containers, Kubernetes familiarity.
• Strong debugging skills; invariants and failure-mode reasoning; data systems, streaming, ML infra.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade, reliable, scalable systems.
• Own systems end-to-end from problem to operation.
• Work across services, infrastructure, data pipelines, and ML systems.
• Debug complex production issues across layers.
• Make engineering trade-offs grounded in first principles.
• Improve performance, latency, and cost efficiency; contribute to architecture.
• Write maintainable code and documentation; raise the engineering bar.
