Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior Certificate/Grade 12 required.
• Basic R425 or R171 qualification (Degree/Diploma in General Nursing) that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• Proof of current registration with SANC must be provided.
• Minimum of 2 years' appropriate/recognizable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, holistic, patient-centred nursing care.
• Ensure care aligns with nursing scope of practice and legal framework.
• Maintain professional ethics and an enabling environment for ethical practice.
• Collaborate with nursing and other stakeholders to support service delivery.
• Participate in management, CPD, staff training, and research activities.
• Ensure compliance with Six Ministerial Priorities and organizational policies.
