Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Senior Software Developer (Gen AI) to design, develop and deploy AI-powered solutions in a telecom environment. The role focuses on Gen AI, cloud platforms (AWS and GCP), and Python, delivering enterprise-grade software with scalability and security in mind.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software development, hands-on Generative AI experience, and a track record of production deployments.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or diploma in CS/IT/Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years' experience in software development with enterprise-scale delivery.
• Proven Generative AI production deployments on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs.
• Experience delivering agentic AI solutions and autonomous workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable software solutions and applications
• Lead the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions within enterprise environments
• Build and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs and related technologies
• Develop and implement agentic AI solutions, autonomous workflows and intelligent automation capabilities
• Design, build and manage cloud-native solutions across AWS and GCP
• Integrate AI services and APIs into enterprise applications
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Engineers and Business Stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and engineering teams
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance and reliability standards
• Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute to technology strategy
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, engineering best practices and adoption of emerging technologies
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective resolutions
• Ensure solutions are delivered in line with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles
