Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Software Developer with a strong Gen AI focus to design, develop and deploy AI-powered solutions in a cloud-native environment. You will work across AWS and GCP to deliver scalable software and intelligent automation for enterprise use.

The role requires deep Python expertise, hands-on Gen AI experience, and leadership to mentor engineers. You will engage with Product Owners and Architects to shape platform strategy in a fast-paced Telco context.

Are you an experienced Software Developer with a strong passion for Generative AI and modern cloud technologies?

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a dynamic Gen AI Squad focused on designing, developing and deploying innovative AI-powered solutions that enhance business operations and customer experiences.

The successful candidate will combine strong Python and software engineering expertise with hands-on Generative AI experience, particularly across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience building agentic AI solutions and intelligent automation will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable software solutions and applications
• Lead the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions within enterprise environments
• Build and deploy AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and related technologies
• Develop and implement agentic AI solutions, autonomous workflows and intelligent automation capabilities
• Design, build and manage cloud-native solutions across AWS and GCP

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years' experience in software development
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software solutions
• Demonstrated experience delivering Generative AI solutions in production environments
• Strong experience working with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience building Agentic AI solutions, AI agents, orchestration frameworks or autonomous workflows
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Telecommunications industry experience will be highly advantageous

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python
