Job summary

JTC Group in Cape Town seeks a Fund Accountant to collate, calculate and sign off NAVs for multiple funds. You will manage cash movements, capital calls, distributions and reconciliations in InvestOne/Investran, ensuring timely, regulatory-compliant financial statements.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification incl. Accounting, Finance or Investments.
• 2–5 years investment fund administration experience.
• Experience in private equity or alternative funds.
• Strong accounting and investment product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collate, calculate, process and review fund information and NAV.
• Prepare cash movements, investments and update transactions in systems.
• Prepare capital calls and distribution notices for investors.
• Perform weekly/monthly cash and stock reconciliations with investigations.
• Monitor asset pricing and corporate actions in InvestOne/Investran.
• Prepare and review NAV to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Investigate dealer/broker/auditor/client queries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with policies, SLAs and internal controls.
• Prepare payment instructions and approve payments as signatory.
• Review and approve valuations as signatory.
