Job summary

Apex Group in Cape Town seeks a Senior Fund Accountant - Asset Allocator to administer funds accurately and within daily deadlines, supporting the team with end-to-end fund accounting processes and client reporting.

You will mentor junior accountants, manage NAV inputs, and collaborate across systems like Invest One and Excel to ensure quality output and risk controls in a dynamic asset management environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a fund accountant.
• BCom or similar accounting/economics/investments background.
• Experience with asset management portfolio administration and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Produce and distribute accurate valuation files.
• Update daily prices in Apex systems and verify accuracy.
• Mentor fund accountants and review valuations for accuracy.
• Understand NAV inputs and systems (Invest One, EMS, Creations).
• Assist in ad-hoc processes and client reporting requirements.
