Job summary

Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our innovative technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain robust web applications spanning frontend interfaces to backend services and databases.

You will mentor junior developers, influence technical decisions, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for client-facing platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development.
• Proficient in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Proficient in backend languages (Python, Node.js, Java, PHP).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using modern technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code for frontend and backend components.
• Develop and manage scalable database solutions with data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement features.
• Optimize performance, security, and scalability across the stack.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
