Placements24 is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-performance user experiences.

You will mentor junior engineers, own key projects, and influence the technical direction of our platform within a remote-first culture that values flexibility and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in web development with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Extensive experience with server-side languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, PHP/Laravel).
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, vital for working effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code across front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive web interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate actively in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to improving development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
