Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our remote-first engineering team. You will develop and enhance both front-end and back-end components of cutting-edge web applications, and mentor other developers in a distributed environment.

You will design robust APIs with Node.js, Python, or Java; build responsive UIs with React/Angular/Vue; optimize databases; and maintain CI/CD pipelines. A strong candidate has 5+ years in full stack and cloud experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency in backend languages and frameworks, and frontend JavaScript frameworks
• Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and management
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Docker
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork in a distributed setting

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust back-end services and APIs using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring)
• Build responsive UI using React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Manage and optimize database performance for relational and NoSQL databases
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code across the full stack
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in a remote environment
