Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to join a fully remote team. You will design, build, and deploy scalable software, mentoring juniors and influencing architectural decisions while delivering high-quality products.

The role requires strong Python skills, experience with Django/Flask, modern frontend frameworks, and hands-on cloud/container experience. Collaboration across time zones and a commitment to best practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Expertise in Python and at least one major Python web framework (Django, Flask).
• Proficiency with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and strong communication for remote collaboration.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using Python and frameworks (Django/Flask).
• Build responsive user interfaces with modern front-end technologies (React/Angular/Vue).
• Develop and manage robust APIs for front-end/back-end integration.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices and standards.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in a remote setting.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and tech selections.
• Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
