Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a fully remote role with a focus on Mossel Bay clients. You will design, develop, and deploy robust web applications across front-end and back-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong JS/HTML/CSS skills, and backend API/database expertise, with cloud and Git proficiency to ensure scalable, maintainable systems in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one modern JS framework.
• Strong backend development experience with RESTful APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and Git version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design, build, and manage scalable backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Write clean, well-documented code for client and server sides.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver features.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve user experience and stability.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices.
