Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications powering their platform, spanning the full stack from database design to front-end implementation and deployment pipelines.

You will influence architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and drive the technical direction of products in a remote-first, autonomous, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full-stack development with Node.js and React.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).


• Build and optimize front-end components using React and associated libraries.


• Develop and manage database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity and performance (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).


• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.


• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment and infrastructure management (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure).


• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices.


• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and deliver high-quality software.


• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on Node.js and React.


• Proficiency in back-end development with Node.js, including experience with frameworks like Express.js.


• Expertise in front-end development with React, including state management (e.g., Redux) and component-based architecture.


• Solid understanding of database technologies, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).


• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.


• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.


• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
