Job summary

Eighty20 is seeking a passionate Full Stack Developer in Cape Town to build elegant, scalable web applications and lead high‑performing teams in an Agile environment. You'll architect and deliver code across multiple projects, drive design, and champion QA, testing and deployment best practices while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

A strong background (5+ years) in React, Python, JavaScript, SQL and AWS, plus a portfolio of projects, and a growth mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a tertiary qualification in software development, computer science, or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience with React, Python, JavaScript, SQL and Linux.
• Experience with cloud services, especially AWS, ETL processes, data analytics and version control.
• Proven leadership in agile development teams and CI/ automated testing practices.
