Paystack is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to deliver and support robust back-end and front-end applications exposing data and functionality to internal and external users.

Applications handling financial information require high data throughput, accuracy, and reliability. You will work with a team of engineers to build systems that serve some of South Africa’s best-known brands, focusing on scalability and integration.

Qualifications

• ,Excellent programming capabilities across at least one major language (JS/TS/Java/C#/Python)
• -Experience with large distributed systems at scale
• -Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modeling
• -Proven experience with writing unit/integration tests
• -Strong communication and ability to collaborate in a remote environment
• -Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliverables

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust platform solutions ensuring scalability and reliability
• Drive product innovation through technical design and implementation
• Tackle complex technical challenges to improve system performance
• Refine architecture for seamless integration with other systems
• Review specifications and code, and conduct thorough tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support merchants and customers
