Job summary

Badger Holdings is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI Products) for an on-site role in George, Western Cape. You will own frontend and backend to deliver usable AI-powered products in a regulated insurance context, building the interfaces, APIs, and product layer that connect AI to people.

The role requires 5+ years in full-stack engineering and proven production AI work, with a focus on secure data handling, CI/CD, and observability. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Demonstrated experience shipping AI or LLM-powered products into production.

Responsibilities

• Own the full stack: frontend experiences, backend services, and production pipelines.
• Design interfaces, APIs, and product layers between AI and users.
• Build observability and feedback loops to improve agent performance in production.
• Ensure secure, compliant data handling in regulated environments.
