Placements24 is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our client’s Pretoria, Gauteng hub on a hybrid basis. You will build modern, responsive UIs with React, Vue, or Angular, translating designs into high-quality code and collaborating with backend teams to deliver scalable web applications.

The role requires 5+ years in frontend development, strong JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3 skills, and experience with Redux/Vuex, RESTful APIs, and modern toolchains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in frontend development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular and Redux/Vuex.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Webpack, Babel, npm/Yarn, Git, Jest or Mocha.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, reusable, and performant code.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
