Qualifications

• Grade 12 completed.
• Post-matric qualification is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of senior experience in a high-end restaurant.
• Good knowledge of duties and procedures in a restaurant.
• Computer knowledge and restaurant software experience.
• Fine-dining / high-end restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent wine knowledge advantageous.

Wine Estate in the Helderberg Mountain near Stellenbosch is looking for a Senior Front of House Manager.

The candidate should be well-spoken, well-presented and passionate about hospitality, as well as be disciplined, hardworking, technically focused and task orientated who can work at a high pace in a predictable manner with great attention to detail.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing a continuous waiter training schedule, as well as identifying and implementing important restaurant and service procedures.

• Checking that all duties have been completed by floor staff.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations
• Daily Cash-up
• Deal with customers, compliments and complaints, follow up etc.
• Implement and follow the rules of the company

• Opening and closing duties

Requirements
