Job summary

OpenSource Intelligent Solutions in Menlyn, Pretoria, is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer (Expert) to join a global IT environment, delivering on Supplier Call Off and Supply Chain Control products with a strong emphasis on usability, stability and scalable solutions.

You will work with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular (version 9+) or React, plus Java or Python on the backend, and DevOps practices (Docker, CI/CD, IaC). The role is hybrid with 2 days in office per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar qualification.
• 6+ years' experience in Frontend development.
• 3+ years' experience in Backend development.
• 3 years' experience in Public Cloud (Azure).

Responsibilities

• Operations – 2nd and 3rd level
• Development of new functionality – backend and frontend
• Changes to the existing solution
• Development of automated tests for the solution
• Further improving automated test coverage
• Development of API to the backend
• Functional and technical refinement
• Maintenance and functional enhancement
• Support and error analysis during overall test cycles and rollouts
• Quality checks regarding development across all teams, including local, international and third-party supplier teams
