About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Formulation Scientist to lead critical formulation development activities in their Richards Bay facility. This role is central to designing and optimizing dosage forms for new pharmaceutical products, ensuring stability, bioavailability, and patient compliance. You will leverage your deep scientific knowledge and practical expertise to overcome complex formulation challenges and guide projects from early-stage development through to commercialization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize novel drug formulations (e.g., oral solids, injectables, topicals) for various therapeutic areas.
• Conduct pre-formulation studies, including solubility, stability, and compatibility assessments.

• Characterize formulated products using advanced analytical techniques and interpret data to support development decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytical development, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, in Richards Bay .

Requirements
