Job summary

Humankind seeks an experienced forensic investigations leader to drive fraud risk management across Africa. You will oversee complex investigations, strengthen governance, and present findings to executive committees across multiple jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and a professional designation (CFE, FPSA, CA(SA) or CIA is advantageous); fluency in French is essential, with 30–50% travel across Africa.

• Proven experience leading complex fraud, corruption, bribery and misconduct investigations.

Are you an experienced forensic investigations professional with a passion for uncovering fraud, strengthening governance and managing complex investigations across Africa?

We’re looking for a seasoned professional to lead forensic investigations and fraud risk management initiatives across African operations.

Key Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Forensics, Law, Forensic Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management or a related field.
• Fluent in French – this is essential!
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in forensic investigations, fraud risk management, forensic accounting, compliance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ management or leadership experience.
• Professional designation such as CFE, FP(SA), CA(SA) or CIA is advantageous.
• Proven experience leading complex fraud, corruption, bribery and misconduct investigations.
• Strong knowledge of fraud risk management, governance, internal controls and evidence management.
• Experience engaging with senior executives and presenting findings to executive or governance committees.
• Pan‑African or multinational experience will be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Africa (approximately 30–50%), sometimes at short notice.
