Financial Intelligence Centre is seeking a Senior Forensic Accountant to lead complex investigations, from data collection to court-ready reporting. You will guide multi‑agency engagements, ensure evidence integrity, and manage compliance within a high‑risk environment.

The role requires an honours degree in relevant fields and professional certifications. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to strategic, risk‑aware investigative initiatives.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Internal Audit or Criminal Law.
• ACFE CFE Full Membership or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
• ICFP FP (SA) Full Membership is preferred.
• ACAMS CAMS Specialist Certification preferred.
• ACFCS CFCS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex forensic investigations with expert-level accounting and analytical methods.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and multi-agency partners on investigations.
• Ensure evidence integrity, reporting, and court-ready outputs.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and supervise forensic reporting.
• Manage risk, compliance and strategic project governance.
