Job summary

AES Global in South Africa seeks a Mobile Developer (Flutter) to build and maintain high-quality mobile apps with a strong focus on user experience.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply SOLID principles, and advance the architecture and performance of our apps. Hybrid work includes one day weekly in Gqeberha or Johannesburg.

A minimum of 3 years in mobile development and a national diploma or higher in IT/CS are required; remote options may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a mobile software development role.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter/Dart application design and development.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns and performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Write well-structured, testable, efficient code using industry best practices (e.g. SOLID).
• Build and maintain mobile applications with a focus on features and user experience.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the products and processes.
• Work closely with developers and internal teams — account managers, project managers, business and system analysts, and testers.
