Job summary

AES Global in South Africa seeks a Mobile Developer (Flutter) to build and maintain high-quality mobile apps with a strong focus on user experience.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply SOLID principles, and advance the architecture and performance of our apps. Hybrid work includes one day weekly in Gqeberha or Johannesburg.

A minimum of 3 years in mobile development and a national diploma or higher in IT/CS are required; remote options may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a mobile software development role.
• Strong knowledge of Flutter/Dart application design and development.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns and performance best practices.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the products and processes
• Work closely with developers and internal teams — account managers, project managers, business and system analysts, and testers

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years’ experience in a mobile software development role
• Strong knowledge of Flutter/Dart application design and development
• A solid understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns and performance best practices
• A national diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field

Advantageous

• Automotive or logistics industry experience
• Background in large-scale SaaS applications

Working model

Hybrid — one day a week in the office, based in Gqeberha or Johannesburg (fully remote may be considered for the right person).
