REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education (essential):

BCom Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification CA(SA) preferred

Minimum applicable experience (years):

510 years relevant financial management experience Experience in a senior financial management role Manufacturing industry experience will be highly advantageous Required nature of experience:

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management. Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights and recommendations. Monitor financial results against budgets and forecasts. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial

Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify variances. Provide financial projections to support business planning and decision-making. Assist management with financial scenario planning.

Financial Controls, Compliance & Risk

Maintain and strengthen effective financial controls and processes. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, legislation and company policies. Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. Oversee internal and external audit processes. Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard company assets and financial information.

Commercial & Strategic Support

Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management. Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for improved profitability. Provide financial input into operational and commercial decisions. Analyse costs, margins and profitability across the business. Support management with financial insights that contribute to business growth and sustainability.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

Lead, manage and develop the finance team. Set clear objectives and monitor team performance. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
