Job summary

Sanlam Limited, through Sanlam Life and Savings, seeks a senior adviser to manage complex intermediary and client portfolios and to influence distribution strategy at a segment level in South Africa.

You will provide thought leadership on advice solutions, safeguard long-term client and business outcomes, and lead initiatives across customer relationships, pricing, and negotiations within a Johannesburg market context.

Responsibilities

• Customer Relationship Management / Account Management - Develop and implement a relationship management plan for existing customer accounts, identify decision-makers, ensure two-way information flow and issue resolution.
• Information and Business Advice - Provide specialist interpretation of policies/procedures and resolve queries; refer complex issues as needed.
• Financial Advice - Implement strategy for providing financial advice within a segment, considering client demographics and needs.
• Pricing and Terms Negotiation - Lead pricing projects within approved boundaries and negotiate terms.
• Customer Needs Clarification - Set objectives for sales calls, tailor materials, gather information, and identify needs for further information.
