Job summary

Frogg Recruitment is assisting a leading FMCG/retail client in Plattekloof, Cape Town to recruit a Financial Accountant with 5+ years of experience in financial accounting. You will manage full financial accounting, payroll, and reporting.

The role includes month-end processes, budgeting and forecasting, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, IFRS understanding, and SARS eFiling. SAP experience is a plus. Salary up to R50 000 per month.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting, Financial Management, or equivalent qualification.
• SAIPA Professional Accountant designation or completed SAIPA/SAICA articles preferred.
• Minimum 5 years plus total years’ experience in a financial accounting environment.
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Month-end and year-end reporting.
• Payroll for 30 staff.
• VAT and statutory compliance.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Fixed asset accounting & Audit preparation.
• ERP experience, specifically SYSPRO, advantageous.
• Payroll system experience, specifically SAGE300 People, advantageous.
• Financial Accounting and General Ledger.
