Job summary

The Focus Group in South Africa seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead planning, reporting and analysis. You will drive monthly flash reporting, variance analysis and commentary for stakeholders, aligning budgets, forecasts and strategic cost controls with the bank's regional aims.

Role requires 3–5 years in financial management, strong Excel and data interpretation skills, and ability to present complex data clearly. On-site role with a focus on governance and cost management.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include NQF Level and diplomas.
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees are required.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and generate monthly flash reports and analyse trends.
• Perform variance analysis comparing results to budgets.
• Provide formal commentary on financial information to stakeholders.
• Prepare adhoc financial reports from multiple sources.
• Track and report on staff costs and headcount.
• Monitor actual spend against budget for footprint rollout.
• Lead financial planning including annual budget, 3-year plans, quarterly forecasts.
• Present Opcom packs to Regional Manco and Exco.
• Train stakeholders on financial management.
