Job summary

iOCO is seeking an aspiring technician to implement and support on customer sites across Electronic Security, Building Management, and Workforce Solutions in KwaZulu-Natal. The role emphasizes on-site execution, stock management, and documentation to meet project and SLA commitments.

The candidate will support Project/Service Managers, perform installations, commissioning, and maintenance, and ensure adherence to South African National Standards. Permanent, full-time position at iOCO.

Qualifications

• Gr 12 or equivalent College diploma or Relevant Experience and Courses.
• NDIP Electronic/Electrical Engineering (LC).
• PSIRA Certification – C.
• SAQCC Registration: Fire Detection Commissioner/Serviceman and Gas Suppression Commissioner/Serviceman

Responsibilities

• Ensure all required equipment, tools, PPE, documentation and incidentals are available, prepared, and in working order to execute work on-site.
• Assist Project Manager / Service Manager on all relevant tasks as instructed.
• Project execution within quoted timelines and standards.
• Allocate stock used on customer-to-customer contracts and complete hand-over to service documentation.
• Prepare stock for projects prior to installation and ensure proper stock booking.
• Coordinate installations on-site including commissioning and testing.
• Maintain and update project documentation and tickets for tracking.
• Manage resources for Service/Installation/Maintenance projects to ensure successful conclusion.
