The role requires extensive agronomy knowledge, budget management, and strong leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale diversified crop operations.
• Strong knowledge of agronomy, soil science, pest management, and crop physiology.
• Demonstrated success in operational planning, budget management, and team leadership.
• Proficiency with farm management software and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans for diversified crop production, including planting, cultivation, and harvesting schedules.
• Oversee daily farm activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation, labor management, and equipment utilization.
• Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and environmental factors, implementing strategies to maximize yield and quality.
• Manage budgets, control operational costs, and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
• Lead, train, and mentor farm staff, fostering a culture of productivity and safety.
