University of the Western Cape invites applications for the Senior Faculty Officer position at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, located on the Main Campus in Bellville, Western Cape. The role reports to the Faculty Manager and encompasses academic and administrative leadership across multiple departments.

The appointee will oversee academic and marks administration, committee coordination, student support, postgraduate management, and staff supervision, including branding and recruitment

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a higher education environment, of which at least 3 years should be in a Faculty Officer role.
• Must have Committee Administration experience.
• Post-graduate qualification would be advantageous (preference will be given to candidates with postgraduate qualification).
• Supervisory Experience;
• Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel/MS Office Suites/PowerPoint.
