The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sanitation or cleaning management, strong leadership and inventory skills, and a deep understanding of disinfection techniques and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sanitation or cleaning management experience.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and disinfection techniques.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.
• Certification in sanitation or facility management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage sanitation plans for all facilities in Richards Bay.
• Oversee daily sanitation team operations, allocate tasks, and manage schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits of sanitation standards.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices, safety, and equipment use.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPE.
• Investigate and resolve sanitation issues with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local and national health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sanitation processes.
• Liaise with department heads on sanitation requirements.
