Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in facilities management.
• Certified data centre professional (advantageous).
• Solid knowledge of building services, plant and equipment.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance, root cause analysis and work order management.
• Ability to write technical specifications and evaluate proposals for new plant and equipment.
• Valid driver's licence (Code B).

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure services to meet defined service standards.
• Keep assets and buildings available according to standards.
• Support planned maintenance to ensure business continuity with minimal downtime.
• Identify potential equipment failures through proactive maintenance.
• Flag assets at end-of-life for capital investment consideration.
• Investigate plant failures to determine root cause and suggest fixes.
• Provide oversight for reactive maintenance per work order/specification and quality standards.
• Approve proposals for new plant/equipment and supply installation specifications.
