About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the mineral exploration sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Exploration Geochemist. This role is vital for identifying and evaluating new mineral deposits through the application of geochemical exploration techniques. You will be responsible for designing and implementing geochemical surveys, interpreting complex datasets, and contributing to the discovery of significant mineral resources. This position requires extensive field experience, a strong command of geochemical modeling and statistical analysis, and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion. The role involves significant travel to remote project sites, including those within the operational vicinity of Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA, and internationally. You will collaborate closely with geologists, geophysicists, and management teams to define exploration targets and advance projects through the discovery pipeline. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned geochemist to make a substantial impact on resource discovery and company growth within a dynamic exploration environment.
