The role blends in-office collaboration with remote flexibility in a hybrid setup. A minimum of 5 years in event management, with leadership experience, is required to drive successful corporate, social, and private events across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in event management, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex events from conception to completion.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office suites.
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, PR or related field preferred.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage event strategies and execution plans for corporate, social, and private events.
• Oversee venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
