Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Landscaping & Estate Management Supervisor to oversee grounds across premier George properties. You will lead a team of gardeners, plan planting schemes, and ensure high standards of landscape presentation.

The role requires a horticulture qualification, 5+ years' management experience, strong organisation, and ability to work outdoors year-round. You will coordinate irrigation, pest control, and contractor projects while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Horticulture, Landscape Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of landscaping or horticultural management.
• Experience supervising gardeners/groundskeepers.
• Knowledge of plant care, pest/disease management.
• Experience with irrigation systems & maintenance equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors.
• Eye for design and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the landscaping team.
• Develop seasonal planting plans and maintenance schedules.
• Oversee lawns, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and landscapes.
• Manage irrigation systems and water usage.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized projects.
