Job summary

CCG Systems is an ICT firm specializing in ERP, Payroll & HR systems for municipal clients across South Africa. We seek a Senior Consultant to join our Richards Bay-based Consulting team, overseeing projects and supervising Trainee Consultants.

The role requires a degree/diploma in financial accounting or related information systems, a valid B driving license, and the ability to pass checks. You will manage installations, upgrades and client-focused process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in financial accounting or related info systems.
• Valid code B driver’s license and own transport.
• Clear credit and criminal checks.
• Legal right to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient installation of applicable systems on servers and workstations.
• Ensure efficient implementation according to clients' business processes.
• Identify client upgrade requirements.
• Perform system upgrades and installations.
• Create custom layouts across all modules.
• Analyse and input into application enhancements.
• Set up a new chart of accounts (standard and segmented).
• Communicate and resolve highlighted problem areas for clients.
• Migrate/import data using batches, SQL and data distribution services.
• Perform reconciliations (control accounts, bank, inventory, assets).
• Purge databases.
• Prepare, review and provide input into support manuals.
• Prepare, review and provide input into support reports.
• Conduct, review and support troubleshooting program errors.
• Provide input into training material and methods.
• Oversee all training in planning and execution.
• Assess clients' training needs in line with service offering.
• Install and configure different versions of SQL.
• Write SQL queries analysing and extracting data from SQL databases.
• Install and set up BIC module and reports.
