Job summary

Takora Human Capital is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Manager to lead environmental management, assessments, permitting, compliance and advisory assignments in South Africa.

Requirements include honours degree or NQF 8 in Environmental Science or related field, 10+ years' hands-on experience, and registration with SACNASP or EAPASA. Experience in infrastructure, energy, mining or municipal projects is advantageous; strong stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Honours degree or NQF Level 8 equivalent in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Ecology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on environmental management experience.
• Valid registration with SACNASP, EAPASA or another applicable professional body.
• Experience in environmental assessments, permitting, licensing, compliance monitoring and environmental reporting.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
