Job summary

Expleo South Africa is seeking an Engineering Lead to envision, lead and develop end-to-end technical solutions across multiple technologies. Based in Johannesburg with hybrid work, you will provide inspirational technical leadership and align engineering activities with product and programme goals.

You will mentor engineers, influence stakeholders, manage risk, and continuously push for improvements while growing the engineering lead practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in similar roles.
• TOGAF Certification and ITIL or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Analyse problems and formulate feasible solutions within organisational boundaries and constraints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and obtain buy-in for architectural decisions.
• Decompose solutions and assist with scheduling, sequencing and resourcing needs.
• Guide software designers with high-level and lower-level designs.
• Mentor and coach engineering practitioners and drive best practices.
• Drive architectural alignment and future-proof end-to-end solutions.
