Job summary

Lyon and Partners is seeking a Senior Engineering Geologist to join our team on a part-time basis to support Power Transmission projects across South Africa.

The role requires a BSc (HONS) in Engineering Geology, SACNASP registration, and extensive field and soil-nomination experience, including dolomite land mitigation. You will engage with stakeholders, review data, and contribute to geotechnical enablement on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc (HONS) Engineering Geology/ Geological Science.
• Professional Registration (Pr.Sci.Nat.) with SACNASP in Earth Sciences.
• Minimum 10 years’ post professional registration experience with soil nominations for power line projects.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in assessing and rehabilitation on dolomite land.

Key skills & Preferred Experience required:
