Our client, an established engineering organisation delivering specialised equipment and engineered solutions, is looking for a Senior Engineer to join its technical team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineering professional to take ownership of complex design and manufacturing projects while providing technical guidance to engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical oversight for specialised equipment design, manufacturing and customer projects while mentoring engineers and technicians.
- Lead engineering development and project delivery, including strength calculations, FEA/simulation, SolidWorks design, manufacturing documentation, procurement, scheduling and vendor coordination.
- Manage technical compliance, quality, safety and project reporting while supporting inspection, maintenance, corrective actions and effective stakeholder communication.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile
Education
- Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PrEng).
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years' experience in a relevant engineering environment.
- Strong experience in mechanical engineering, design and project delivery.
- Experience working with manufacturing and engineered equipment.
- Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to engineers and technicians.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong technical report‑writing capability.
- Sound understanding of 3D CAD packages, particularly SolidWorks.
- Exposure to FEA software such as SolidWorks Simulation.
- Exposure to Mathcad, MATLAB or similar engineering calculation software.
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, boiler‑making and precision machining.
- Exposure to ASME VIII, API and international classification rules will be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time‑management skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
