Our client in the Offshore Engineering industry is looking for a Senior Engineer that will oversee mechanical engineering activities relating to offshore drilling risers and well control equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management experience, practical problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and supervise personnel.

Minimum requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree and registered as Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• 6 years' experience within a similar environment is non negotiable
• Advance knowledge of MS Office is required
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA and engineering calculation software, particularly SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, Mathcad or MATLAB, would be advantageous
• Solid knowledge of fabrication, boilermaking, welding, and precision machining processes
• Valid drivers license and own transport
