Qualifications

• Strong academic track record in a quantitative field.

• Senior Analyst: relevant energy/electricity sector experience and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical skills to complex challenges in the energy sector.
• Execute bespoke energy consulting projects for clients.
• Develop market forecast reports and in-depth analyses.
• Value energy assets and forecast asset economics through modelling.
• Analyse energy policy for governments and regulators.
• Build and update forecasts of South Africa's power system.
• Conduct desk research and modelling in collaboration with teams.
• Produce regular briefings and mini-conferences on market topics.
• Collaborate with analysts, project managers and senior colleagues on rotation.
• Senior Analysts take greater project ownership and manage client interactions.
