Job summary

Aurora Energy Research is hiring for Analyst and Senior Analyst roles in our new Cape Town office. You will combine training with hands-on project work, building skills in energy market analysis and client communications.

You will collaborate with Advisory and Research teams to deliver valuations, market forecasts and original analysis for investors, developers and utilities. Senior Analysts will take more project ownership over time.

Qualifications

• Strong academic track record in quantitative field.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex information.
• Proven quantitative ability from academics or work.
• Effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Fluency in English (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Assist advisory projects with asset valuations and scenario modelling.
• Support research with market forecasts and data analysis.
