Job summary

Tumaini Consulting is seeking a Senior Electrician for a leading heavy industrial manufacturing facility in South Africa. You will lead complex electrical maintenance, fault finding, and automation challenges, with focus on CNC machine tools, PLC diagnostics, and industrial networks.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years as a Maintenance Electrician in heavy industry, hands-on high-voltage equipment, gas furnaces, and ladder logic fault-finding.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years' experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a heavy industrial plant.
• Proven experience working with CNC machine tools and automated manufacturing systems.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage equipment and gas furnaces.
• Advanced electrical fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong PLC diagnostics and ladder logic fault-finding experience.
• Working knowledge of industrial networks, including Profibus and Ethernet/IP.
