Placements24 is looking for a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer with extensive SCADA and control systems experience for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and support advanced control solutions for complex industrial processes, coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SCADA and industrial control systems.
• Extensive experience with PLC programming platforms (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Proficiency with SCADA software packages (Ignition, Wonderware, Cimplicity).
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
• Experience with HMI development and GUI design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work remotely in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems, including databases, HMI screens, and communication protocols.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens, Rockwell) for industrial automation applications.
• Design and integrate electrical control panels and systems for various industrial processes.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and validation of SCADA and control solutions.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and define system specifications.
